Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Sophia always had the heart of a creative. It only made sense that she turn her love of artistic storytelling into a writing career.

During her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, she majored in rhetoric and writing and completed two minors, one in English and another in journalism and media. From studying classical literature abroad at Oxford University to writing on staff for UT's Drift Magazine, her diverse study of narrative technique produced a refined voice and a passion for magazine writing.

Sophia regularly appears in Austin Monthly and Austin Home magazines, writing articles and completing fact-checking for award databases. She has also used her audience-first approach to write marketing content for the H. E. Butt Foundation, Woodstock Media Group, and ScrapheartGifts. Additionally, she practices editing as a college essay coach for high school seniors.

In her free time, Sophia enjoys watching mystery thrillers, drinking tea, and reading just about anything.
